Eastern Carolina Homelessness Organizaiton (ECHO) is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporartion that brings together agencies and organizations in 12 counties to provide a "Continuum of Care" for homeless persons and families. ECHO existed as two separate homeless coalitions: Total Care for the Homeless Coalition (TCHC) and Homeless Coalition of the Pee Dee (HCPD) prior to their merger in June of 2010.

We currently have over 80 members representing over 40 agencies that provide a wide range of services to the homeless. These services include:

  • Homeless/Emergency Shelter
  • Transitional Housing
  • Permanent, Supportive Housing
  • Supportive Services
  • Emergency food
  • Meals
  • Clothing
  • Medical services
  • Mental health services
  • Rental and utility assistance
  • And many other services...

If you work with or are concerned with homeless people in one of these 12 counties, join ECHO to stay informed, network, and collaborate with others in your community. Our lowest membership fee is just $15. We meet twice a month rotating between Conway, Florence and Sumter.
